(Alexis’ Studio Recital (May 2024), comprised of her 7 high school students)
Teaching piccolo and flute to all ages, genders, and backgrounds, both privately and in schools
Outside of her own performances, Alexis has a deep love for educating. She strives to give her students the most rewarding and healthy experience (both physically and mentally) while they are learning and developing musical skills. In addition, she finds ways to ignite passion and excitement within her students so that they learn to love their craft. She has been teaching private lessons for 4 years, with her students winning the top placements in the Arizona (AMEA) High School All-State Band and Regional Bands/Orchestra. She has also worked with one of the best marching bands in Southern Arizona, Rincon/University High School, working as a music and visual instructor. She has also served on panels for summer flute festivals within Arizona and is scheduled to give piccolo masterclasses to universities within Maryland in 2025.
